Orville & Wilbur Wright

It's 2009 and we have to marvel at the stunning aeronautic advancements made since the Wright Flyer's first flight.   2003 brought us the 100th anniversary of the Wright Flyer.   In 2004 Burt Rutan's private reusable launch vehicle, SpaceShipOne won the $10 M ANSARI X Prize.
Burt Rutan
Burt's humble beginnings were with model aircraft.   We can only wonder at what great achievements in aviation the rest of this century has in store.
